Table of Contents -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- 1. Introduction 2. Explanation 3. Database 4. Conclusion 1. Introduction -=-=-=-=-=-=-=- This is the database or bestiary of the Kingdom Hearts enemies. It will contain information and strategies for every enemy. I hope this helps you. Please do not use my FAQ on any site without my permission. I have a copyright on this FAQ so don't copy my work. All the characters, symbols and such in Kingdom Hearts are Square's and Disney's trademarks (belonging to the respectful ones) and they have copyright over those. I am just writing a database or collected amount of information on the enemies in the game. 2. Explanation -=-=-=-=-=-=-= Well, I know for a fact each enemy has a certain amount of HP, but I got this information from the Walkthrough that I bought. So I cannot give you their number HP. I can, however, give you my own explanation of the HP. For example, I know that Sephiroth has 1,800 HP., since the guide told me. I also took time to notice that it takes 6 bars (5 visible, 1 invisible) to kill Sephiroth. Divide 1800 by 6 and you get 300. That's 300 HP a bar. So I could give you a number HP now, but I'd rather just give you an estimate of how many bars or how much of bar it takes to kill an enemy. Also, for example, when I say 40%, I mean 40 percent or two fifths of a full bar. If you don't understand math or percents, then I am sorry. I will also estimate, so forgive me if I am wrong. Hopefully, this way, my info will be original and I won't be biting off someone else's work. I will also describe the way they look, their defense and power, the items they drop and strategies or notes. The list is in alphabetical order. 3. Hades wants Herc and Sora out the way, but all his schemes against Sora and the others seem to end in failure. -Description The one and only blue-flame headed Hades that rocks a black robe. -Strategies/Notes He can be very hard if you are at a low level. Let me just say don't be fooled to think that you are no hurting him, you are, just keep hitting. First of all he cannot be harmed by anything with his back turned. Second of all he has two modes: berserk mode and regular mode. In Berserk mode, he's much stronger, faster and attacks more often. When he goes berserk, just pummel him cause he will try to attack you more. Be careful of his fireballs. He will also do a fire spin. To avoid this run the direction he is spinning and make sure you stay close to him so it'll be easier. Sometimes when he is berserk, you cannot dodge this. This attack can be very deadly; it can kill your allies very quickly. Also he is invincible when he does the fire spin so don't waste MP trying to hurt him. You should attack him most when he's berserk or throwing fireballs with Ars Arcnum. -Items: Nothing Hercules -------- -Before Hollow Bastion- HP: 150% EXP: 700 -After Hollow Bastion- HP: 250% EXP: 1000 -Power: Strong -Defense: Strong -Info A legendary hero with godlike strength. It has sharp body parts and is blue. -Strategies/Notes This is one of the most drawn out and longest fights in the game. For one, you cannot reach him at all with anything. The only true way to hurt him is to deflect his icicles at you. Do not, I repeat, do not cast Aero or you won't be able to deflect his icicles. Your best chance is to run to a corner on the stadium. From there, deflect the icicles. Keep trying; it's kind of annoying because of the icicles coming out of the ground. Try to dodge them but don't worry too much. Also jump and cast heal so you don't get hurt or heal right when you get hurt. Once you hit him enough, he will fall. Superglide to him and hit him as much as possible, cause you only have little time. Now he will stand back up and have some new moves. Run very quickly back to your corner. He will shoot out a barrage of icicles. This is the perfect chance to deflect a lot of them back. Then he will blow Frost Breath and you will be frozen. This hurts. To avoid it, run to a corner and it won't touch you. He will also drop ice balls on you, just roll or run out the way. This battle is very tedious and long. But repeat the process and keep deflecting the icicles and you will win. -Items: Nothing Invisible --------- -After Hollow Bastion- HP: 100% EXP: 120 -Power: Strong -Defense: Strong -Info Heartless wielding a large sword. They pack some power and are very mobile. One move they have is where they plant their sword into the ground and they morph into these dark rings. A dark ring will appear around you. Just as it closes on you jump and sometimes you will dodge it. These guys can be tough, but they should go down once you got good defense and weapon. -Items: Hi-Potion – rare Elixir - rare Gale – occasionally Orichalcum – very rare Jafar ----- -Before Hollow Bastion- HP: 160% EXP: 600 -Power: Strong -Defense: Medium -Info The vizier of Agrabah. He just floats around casting some spells. Just hop on the ledge and whack at him. Then he will tell Genie to attack, just run and tech roll. It swung its six powerful arms to attack Sora and company and block their attacks. But Sora sought out its weakness and emerged the victor. -Description It's a sixed arm giant robot that looks Persian or some sort. -Strategies/Notes This battle can be hard if you are not ready or leveled up. As soon as you get into the battle, summon Tinker Bell. She will heal your party, and is very useful, cause you magic will be disabled. Lock onto the orbs in its hands, whack at those. Also it is very mobile so you may have to use Superglide to chase or dodge it. Once they are destroyed, it will fall into the sand. Attack the head until it regains conscious. No you can use magic, but Zisa has a protective barrier around it now. Constantly cast Thundaga on it to break it. Beware of its attacks though; just dodge them with tech roll. Cast Aeroga too. Once the barrier is broken, he will fall again. Attack the head once again. After it awakes, it will reinitiate his two orbs sequence and repeat it all over again. So cast Tinker Bell before it locks you magic. Repeat the strategy and you will win. -Items: Nothing Large Body ---------- -Before Hollow Bastion- HP: 50% EXP: 7 -After Hollow Bastion- HP: 100% EXP: 240 -Power: Strong -Defense: Strong -Info Big round Heartless. Since meeting the king, who has been so vigilant against the Heartless, Leon has sought the truth behind the "key". -Description It's Squall, with longer hair. He looks a lot like his father. -Strategies/Notes The first time you fight Squall is easy; just attack him. His attacks aren't too damaging. But at the tournament, you can tell he's been training, cause he's pretty challenging the first time you challenge him there. Well Squall never fights you alone, but if you are fighting Yuffie and him, kill Yuffie first, since she has long range. If it's Cloud and him, kill him first since he's the weaker one. Squall's first sequence is pretty easy. Just attack him and guard his attacks. His second sequence when he powers up his gunblade and it extends, he's very aggressive and stronger. He now has range on his side and he's aggressive. So attack him and don't let him attack you or you will suffer pain. -Items: Lionheart (Cloud and Squall battle) - key chain Lock ---- -Before Hollow Bastion- HP: 50% EXP: 180 (divided by ten if not last one killed) -Power: Medium -Defense: Medium -Info The ringleader of the trio that includes Shock and Barrel. X-) -Strategies/Notes This fight is much like Jafar's, except she's on a platform. Her attacks can be damaging, but nothing major with Aero. Jump on the platform and attack. She will sometimes knock you off, but just hop back on. You can also cast Gravity on the platform, which brings her down. Also the platform can be damage. Let the enemies she summons be taken cared of by your allies. -Items: Cheer – ability Ansem's Report 5 Maleficent (Dragon) ------------------- -During Hollow Bastion- HP: 400% EXP: 6000 -Power: Very Strong -Defense: Strong -Info Maleficent became a huge dragon when the Keyblade released the darkness in her heart. The dragon wielded both Maleficent's power and the terrible forces of darkness. -Description She turns into a huge, black, and spiny backed dragon. -Strategies/Notes This battle can be tough one. Make sure you got Strike Raid and some ethers. As long as you have MP, do not take this dragon on head on. First jump and glide onto its back. Then run towards its neck and lock onto it. No use Strike Raid and do the full move. After each Strike, the menu will say Raid and it will light up, that's when you press X again. Keep doing this attack combo and you take a chunk out of the HP. Once you run out of MP, use Ethers. Once you run out of Ethers, unless an attack barrage on it. You will probably fall off. Now you must try you lock head on. If you regain enough MP, hop back on it and do Strike Raid. Ars Arcnum works well too. Also the Dragon can knock you off somethings, but just glide back on.
